NBC cuts US Open ads, introduces ‘whip-around’ Peacock show

NBC Sports has cut its commercial breaks by 30 per cent during live US Open coverage to reduce interruptions following complaints from viewers last year, while offering a record number of linear hours and an alternate broadcast on streaming service Peacock.
