With AWS adding its weight through insights into the future of AI and cloud computing in Web3, the event captivated attendees by blending groundbreaking blockchain discussions with the electric atmosphere of international football.
The event also brought together industry leaders, sports icons, and blockchain innovators for an evening that not only celebrated technological advancements but also paved the way for a historic and transformative partnership in blockchain and sports.
An evening of innovation and excitement
The evening kicked off with a series of keynote presentations that set the stage for Gate.io’s vision in the blockchain space. Kevin Lee, CEO of Gate.HK, an independent associate of Gate.io, shared how the company leads innovation within the blockchain industry. This was followed by an insightful keynote from Kong Lei, Senior Solution Architect Manager of AWS Global Web3, who discussed how AWS leverages cloud services and AI to drive the development of the Web3 ecosystem.
A night with Legends: Celebating the Inter Partnership
As the night drew closer, the event’s focus transitioned from blockchain to sports with the official signing ceremony between Gate.io and Inter. This ceremony formalized Gate.io’s status as the Official Sleeve Partner of Inter for the 24/25 season, an exciting milestone previously announced in August. Dr. Lin Han, Founder and CEO of Gate.io, delivered a keynote on Gate.io’s innovative blockchain solutions, addressing both current and historical security issues in the blockchain space. His speech also covered key blockchain and crypto market trends, highlighting Gate.io’s cutting-edge approach to these challenges. Luca Danovaro, Chief Revenue Officer of FC Internazionale Milano, discussed the partnership’s strategic importance in the digital age.
Adding to the excitement, Andrea Ranocchia, Former Player and Club Legend of Inter, made a special appearance, meeting with guests and offering photo opportunities. In a memorable moment, Luca and Andrea presented Dr. Han with an Inter home jersey emblazoned with Gate.io on the sleeve and back, symbolizing this partnership’s unity and future success.
VIP Dinner, Netowrking and Celebrations
The event concluded with a VIP dinner and networking session, where attendees connected with industry and sports luminaries against the backdrop of a live DJ, creating an atmosphere of celebration and collaboration.
SOCCER2050: From on-chain to on-pitch
Additionally, Gate.io organized SOCCER2050, a separate football match highlighting its commitment to the sport and the community. The event was co-hosted with LTP on September 17 in Singapore, where several teams faced off in friendly football matches following a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Dr. Lin Han and representatives from LTP, Huawei Cloud, and Zodia Custody. This event further cemented Gate.io’s presence in the football world, fostering camaraderie and engagement among participants.
