Tie Break Tens, the quick-fire tie-break tennis tournament which launched in December last year, will return for its second edition on October 23rd at the Erste Bank Open 500 - the ATP World Tour 500 stop in Vienna.

Speaking at the Press Conference Centre in Rio’s Barra Olympic Park this morning, Balázs Fürjes, the Budapest 2024 Bid Chairman, and members of “Team Budapest”, gave a much anticipated press conference to a group of international journalists.
Fürjes opened by saying that Budapest’s Olympic bid approach was one of “athletic determination”, to achieve “one single goal”.

As the final members of the Hungarian Team prepare to depart for Rio they will do so in the knowledge that both the President of Hungary, Mr. János Áder, and Prime Minister Mr. Viktor Orbán support them as they compete in the world’s greatest sporting spectacle – in person.

The International Triathlon Union (ITU) has awarded the 2019 edition of the ITU Grand Final to Lausanne, the Olympic Capital, which will also organize an ITU World Cup stage in 2018. The other bidder for the event was the city of Edmonton (CAN).
