Public broadcaster Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) agreed a deal with the Traffic Sports Marketing and Total Sports Asia agencies for the rights to broadcast all nine of Brazil’s home matches of the 2010 South American World Cup Qualifying Tournament.

The Host City of the 2014 Olympic Winter Games will be elected at the 119th IOC Session in Guatemala City later today with IOC members choosing between the cities of Sochi (Russian Federation), Salzburg (Austria) and PyeongChang (Republic of Korea).

“Hosting the Winter Olympics will help develop winter sports in Korea and promote peace on the Korean Peninsula,” Kim Jin-sun, Governor of Gangwon Province and Executive President of PyeongChang 2014, told SportBusiness.
