ADIDAS 2000 PRETAX PROFIT FALLS 13 PERCENT.

German sportswear and equipment maker Adidas-Salomon on Monday posted a 13 percent fall in 2000 pre-tax profit but said it expected sales to rise by a third to about 15 billion marks ($7.22 billion) by 2003.
