Aston Villa owner reduces stake in Portugal’s Vitória in bid to avoid European conflict

V Sports, the holding company of Premier League club Aston Villa, has reduced its stake in Portuguese Primeira Liga club Vitória de Guimaraes from 46 to 29 per cent ahead of the new season in which both clubs will compete in the same European competition.
