Study: Biennial World Cup could cost club football up to €8bn a year in lost revenues

Fifa’s plan to host a men’s football World Cup every two years could cost the world’s biggest leagues and clubs a collective €8bn ($9bn/£6.7bn) in lost revenues, according to a new report.
