CAF backs biennial World Cups, launch of ‘Pan-African Super League’

The Confederation of African Football has become the first continental governing body to officially back Fifa’s controversial proposal to switch the men’s and women’s World Cups to a biennial hosting model, while member associations have also supported the formation of a ‘Pan-African Super League’.
