Canada’s Competition Tribunal approves Rogers-Shaw merger

Rogers Communications’ C$20bn (€13.9bn/$14.7bn) bid for rival Canadian telco Shaw has been approved by the Competition Tribunal in the country, seemingly paving the way for a merger between the two firms.
