Canal Plus targets Asian streaming market with $300m Viu investment

Pay-television broadcaster Canal Plus has strengthened its presence in the Southeast Asia market by becoming a minority shareholder in Viu, an OTT streaming service owned by Hong Kong-based telco PCCW.
