CAS ruling opens door to Russian doping appeals on eve of Games

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) ruled yesterday (Thursday) that bans on two Russian rowers and a swimmer with histories of doping were unenforceable, opening the door to a multitude of appeals on the eve of the Rio 2016 summer Olympic Games.
