Childs resigns as Premiership Rugby CEO, handed CVC advisory role

Darren Childs has resigned from his position as chief executive of Premiership Rugby to “focus on a wide range of business interests” and has been named an adviser to CVC Capital Partners, the private equity giant that holds a 27-per-cent stake in the commercial arm of the top tier of English rugby union.
