German World Cup chiefs issue further denials as prosecutor considers options

German Football Association (DFB) president Wolfgang Niersbach today (Monday) reiterated that there is no truth in allegations that a secret ‘slush fund’ was established to secure votes for the country to host football’s 2006 Fifa World Cup, as Frankfurt’s state prosecutor said it will look into the reports.
