Government lobbying revealed for Coe’s IAAF tilt, VTB prepares lawsuits

The British government ordered ambassadors around the world to lobby athletics leaders to vote for Sebastian Coe in last year’s International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) presidential election, according to documents obtained by the Associated Press, while Russian financial services group VTB has said it is preparing lawsuits against 10 members of the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada).
