IOC seeks to shave $1.5bn from Games costs under ‘The New Norm’

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has unveiled a new scheme which aims to slash over $1.5bn (€1.23bn) from the cost of staging summer and winter Olympic Games through an “ambitious” set of 118 reforms.
