Latvian PM questions co-hosting of IIHF Men’s World Championship with Belarus

Latvian prime minister Krišjānis Kariņš has questioned the country’s co-hosting of the 2021 Men’s Ice Hockey World Championship with Belarus in light of widespread political protests and allegations of human rights abuses following Alexander Lukashenko’s disputed re-election as Belarusian president.
