LFP votes in favour of reducing Ligue 1 to 18 teams from 2023-24 season

The general assembly of France’s Professional Football League (LFP) has voted in favour of reducing the size of Ligue 1, the top division of French football, from 20 teams to 18 from the start of the 2023-24 season.
