Portuguese league set for expansion as TV rights model is challenged

The Portuguese Football League (LPFP) has approved the expansion of the Primeira Liga to 18 clubs as president Mario Figueiredo vowed to take his fight for the centralisation of the league’s media rights to the European courts.
