Premiership rugby clubs propped up with £88m government funding package

English Premiership rugby union clubs will receive £88m (€103.3m/$121.6m) in loan support through the latest tranche of funding from the winter phase of the UK government’s Sport Survival Package, while the likes of rugby league and horse racing will benefit from a £40m package.
