Rio 2016 takes measures to combat Zika outbreak

Rio 2016 has said the Brazilian city’s Olympic and Paralympic venues will be inspected on a daily basis during this year’s Games in an effort to prevent the spread of a mosquito-borne virus linked to a rare birth defect and a condition that can cause paralysis.
