The English Premier League has attacked a plan for its restructure that has been proposed by the owners of leading clubs Manchester United and Liverpool, and backed by the English Football League. The plan includes proposals to reduce the number of teams in the league from 20 to 18 teams, and to share 25 per cent of revenues with the EFL. The Premier League said some of the proposals "could have a damaging impact on the whole game" - Reuters/CNA
