Russia’s World Cup chief dampens security concerns

Alexey Sorokin, chief executive of the local organising committee for the 2018 Fifa World Cup, has maintained that the fallout from the attack on former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in England last month will not adversely affect international cooperation on security matters for this summer’s national team football tournament.
