Swiss regulator: Fifa at fault over Qatar 2022 carbon-neutral claims

Fifa has said it remains committed to “continuously improve its approaches” with regards sustainability issues after the Swiss Commission for Fairness in Commercial Communication (SLK) upheld complaints from five European countries regarding the claims by world football’s governing body that Qatar’s 2022 World Cup was a carbon-neutral tournament.
