Ten rules itself out of the running to retain Melbourne Cup

Australian commercial broadcaster Network Ten has elected to withdraw from the process to potentially retain its free-to-air rights for domestic horse racing showpiece the Melbourne Cup, stating such a deal would result in “commercial constraints”.
