Thorns, Red Stars owners stepping aside from teams’ decisions

One day after the United States Soccer Federation released Sally Yates' independent investigation into allegations of widespread abuse in American women's soccer, National Women's Soccer League's Portland Thorns chief executive and owner Merritt Paulson announced he will be stepping away from "Thorns-related decision making" until the NWSL and NWSL Players Association's joint investigation is released.
