World Snooker (WPBSA) has slapped a 12-year ban on Stephen Lee, after the former world number-five player was found guilty of match-fixing earlier this month.

World Snooker champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has clarified his comments claiming that many players were involved in match-fixing and that the sport’s governing body wanted to hide the issue.

World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn has asked snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan to provide any details of match-fixing, following his comments made via Twitter today.

Snooker could be on the Olympic schedule by the 2028 Games, according to the sport’s commercial rights-holder.
